About Joyce Cai

Joyce Cai is a licensed acupuncturist with over 20 years of experience. She is also a former registered nurse, and holds a master's degree in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. After studying with renowned acupuncturist Dr. Huiyin Le in China, she moved to the United States and obtained her RN license.

Her 10 years of nursing at O' Connor and Alexian Brothers hospitals from 1990-2000 helped supplement her extensive acupuncture background so she could compare western medical diagnostics to Chinese pulse diagnostics (a method of discovering the root of physical illness through feeling the pulse at the wrists).
